Here we are again! Absolutely stunning views

We got 2 flights
2915 chambourcin- we both really like this. Very dry which we’re tending to. Definitely a bright feel. I think we’ll purchase some of this. Wish I could go into more depth about flavors and nose but I believe tits really just the grape done right
2016 Merlot- the description is amazing. I found it a little tart. It’s really very good. Rich tannins. Per Kelly, black cherry, black pepper, leather. I found the leather after he mentioned it
2014 Tempranillo- nose is intense. Very strong, as if it’s infused. On the nose we both caught the aroma of being in a bar the next day. Really just too intense for the both of us.
2015 Miracle- really very good. I think it’s still a little young; could be more intense. Still, very good
2018 cab franc – per what’s his name, pencil shavings. Kinda flattens it. I found the cocoa and can’t get away from it. Just don’t like this at all
2019 petite Verdot- meh

And we’re back! – 5/7/22
2016 le mariage – 50% Merlot 46% petite Verdo 4% cab Franc.I don’t like this at all. Tastes and smells like mold to me. Waiting for Kelly’s take. He kinda likes it. Definitely damp, soggy twigs

Omg – the tasting room manager just came out and brought us the “rest of” the merlot and the 2918 governors cup mariage. We’ll get to those shortly

2019 petite Verdot- This one is 91% petite Verdeau and 9% Cabernet Solvignon. We both got the vanilla and coffee on the nose and in the palate. Kelly got plum. I’m really liking it this time. Who knew?

2015 chambourcin- still fantastic. Just a really great chambourcin.

2919 Malbec- This one is 79% Malbec 14% petite Verdo and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon. Jammy, thick Malbec. It’s good but too thick.

Omg. The merlot is delicious! It’s definitely lost the tartness. We’re buying this
And the chambourcin, 2015 miracle and petite vertical. We haven’t tried the cab franc yet

2018 cab franc – 91% cab Franc 9% Merlot. The description has it saying warm and toasty, opens with alluring aromas of dark chocolate raspberry and açaí With a lift of black pepper nutmeg. Subtle and smooth tanning wraps around black raspberry and blueberry with lingering toasted spice.
