Morais Vineyard

Merlot – fruit forward, smooth, very heavy. Love the nose. Would be very good w hearty stew which I rarely make. Kelly noted black cherry and plum

Cabernet Franc – one of the better we’ve tried. Hint of spice, little tart but not fruity tart which per kelly is a technical term that he’s apt to using. (Roll of eyes). We’ll probably buy a couple bottles

Comendador – 40% cab franc, 40% Merlot and 20% touriga – I like it, definitely fruit forward. Kelly likes it but not a huge fan. He wouldn’t buy it

Touriga – oh yeah. We both really like it. Portuguese native grape varietals; Medium for body and spicy with a beautiful violet color. Definitely like this.
