De la merce – 50/50 merlot and Chambourcin. Way too sweet which was pretty surprising since we like both grapes
2017 Malbec – very good. Not too sweet although there are notes of cherry. We liked this
2018 Captain – 38% Malbec, 37% petit Verdot, 25% tannat – large mouth feel. Kelly likes the taste. I found it to be a little meh
2018 Tannat – very, very nice. Dark and deep
2017 Tannat – won governors cup in 2020 – per kelly , “oh my, that’s much better”. Full mouth with a lovely flavor
2018 petit Verdot was delicious and a nice drinking wine but we opted for the 2017 which won the 2020 governor’s cup
