Tasting room is lovely albeit a bit loud. I imagine in the warmer months this place would be spectacular outside. Beautiful view of the mountains
PS – we don’t like their napkins

Bloodstone

We really like this. A little spicy. I like this grape. Almost like a chambourcin. Dry and smooth
Cabernet Sauvignon – interestingly it’s a blend f cab sauv, merlot and cab franc. Absolutely delicious. Little spicier than a normal cab sauv. Kelly likes it! A little peppery spicy w some berry notes

Bloodstone is very good. Definitely a drinking wine. The cab sauv is delicious and would go great w a meal

Petite Verdot – Kelly got clay, red leaves, earthy. While I got that on the nose it was a much lighter clay. It’s a really nice drinking wine. I really like the grape.
Kelly got tobacco for sure.

He just made a very funny face and announced he’s going to cut the cheese. I really hope she’s in front of us and not what I think it could be. Because if it’s what I think it could be I’m out of here.

Ruby –

I used my nose up at the last place. This one is very tart. Not smooth at all. Trying Find what it would go with but I just can’t. It is just too tart for me & Kelly

Onyx –

100% Tannat – exactly as a Tannat needs to be. Deep and delicious.
Per Kelly, spicy, he got raspberry, and a white leather

And we’re back! Decided to join.

• #1 – Bloodstone (see description above) – 100% fer servadou grape. Had to look it up but Apparently it’s a French grape that has a big bowl flavor. Which we thought it did. We really like this as it’s nice and dry and flavorful.

• #2 – Cabernet Sauvignon. This one is a blend of cab salve Merlot and cat song. And I’m not going to fix those words (I’m dictating). I’m definitely getting something on the nose but I can’t figure out what. I really like this one. It’s a little tart but it’s not too heavy. Kelly is getting unripe strawberries.

• #3 – petite Verdot 100%- lovely 100% nose, mild tannins. Fruit forward w notes of blueberry

• #4 – Ruby – this one we weren’t crazy about last time. Let’s see what happens today. I’m liking it. Summer wine w a much milder body. Paired w the right foods, it could be quite good

• #5 – onyx – 100% Tannat. Simply delicious
