Celtico chambourcin 2014 – awesome nose, too sweet on the palate. I got a lot d strawberry. Kelly – some spice and cinnamon. Just a hint if pepper. Dry. Vierzig blaufrankisch – 2014 – I picked up wet leaves and manure. Very earthy. Kelly picked up wet sticks, wet bark, oak, coffee and a little new leather. He’s being serious. Too earthy for me. 2nd sip is better than the 1st. Vierzig blaufrankisch 2015 – per Kelly – similar to 2014. Wet bark, new leather, little spice. Leaning more towards the earthy notes. ‘It leans more towards the earthy. More info f a wet leaf than a wet bark’. I kid you not, he said that. And, he’s serious. I found it a bit more palatable. Maybe because it’s younger? Cantabile Cabernet franc 2015 – very dry. It’s ok. Heavy in the blueberries. 2019 cab franc – not as deep as the 15. A little more fruity but that’s not a bad thing. To me, it’s a non descriptive of a red wine that’s dry and palatable Cab franc 2020 – it’s not a cab franc that I recognize but I like it a bit. Fruity with a bit f a perfumey nose. Per Kelly – Slightly fruity on the first date pinto spice nice finish dry they call it a cab Franc we’re not sure. Petite Verdot 2020- nice nose- chocolate and leather. Not earthy or spicy. Just a nice wine Red blend 2020- driest of the group – sweet, dry raspberry and licorice. Not bad Overall it’s a lovely winery but nothing to come back toNote: they close at 6 and they practically pushed us out the door at 6:10. I think they were actually upset that we had stayed so long.
