4/3/21

2016 Cab Franc – Smooth, easy drinkable wine

2016 Petit Verdot – Lovely wine. Actually very good per Kelly. Smooth. Goes down easily

2016 Ameritage -Excellent wine. Depth. Smooth & Enjoyable

2016 Ameritage Reserve – Very smooth and enjoyable. Made with Malbec, Petite Verdot and Cab Sav.

September 2022 – And we’re back!

2018 Cab Franc – Per Kelly, oooh, tart and peppery; I like it! I did not find so much pepper

2018 Merlot – Ah, Not another Merlot! (we need to stop that)! But this one is really good. Really really good. Kelly says newly minted belt leather and blackberries, wet sticks. (heavy sigh)

2017 Ameritage – tangy and spicy. Kelly got the blackberries but I couldn’t find the cocoa and vanilla. I like this a little.

2017 Portugal’s Alento – I really liked it. I know it will be better with meat. Kelly wasn’t too fond. He found it to be musty

2017 cab franc reserve – by far my favorite. Green pepper. Kelly tastes licorice. He doesn’t like it as much as the regular per me – smoother and more depth. Per kelly, the other is more crisp and peppery

2017 – petit Verdot – very distinct flavors , attacks your palate. Too aggressive

2016 petite Verdot reserve – definitely better than the other; much smoother and earthy. A little too deep and dark

6th mission black ops – definitely as good their description. Menthol and earth. Kelly said velvety cream. Love it. Just because of it’s name we must have it

2017 cab sauv reserve- smooth and delicious. Not a sipping wine but very good w dinner.
